Cairns Dive Centre offers you the best value diving and snorkelling
on a one-day trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Snorkel
or dive the amazing Outer Great Barrier Reef! See spectacular
coral gardens teeming with a vast array of marine life.
M.V. SUNKIST
 Your
day trip is aboard our vessel, the M.V.Sun-Kist - a state
of the art 60-ft (18m) mono hull with a top speed of 24 knots,
and offers a fast 90-minute transfer to the Outer Great Barrier
Reef. M.V. Sun-Kist is capable of carrying up to 48 divers,
however, to ensure your comfort, Cairns Dive Centre limits
the combined diving and snorkelling day trip passenger numbers
to a maximum of 25 - after the daily transfer of some divers
to our live aboard vessel M.V. Kangaroo Explorer.
Departing daily from the Marlin Jetty, the M.V. Sun-Kist
visits 2 different dive/snorkel locations each day from a
choice of Milln, Briggs, Moore and Thetford Reefs - approximately
38 nautical miles (64 kilometers) from the coast of Cairns.
The experienced Sun-Kist crew – selected for their local
knowledge and love of the Cairns region and the ocean - will
take you to the best dive and snorkel sites available.
